The Rivers and Coast Need Your Help!

 

Every day our dedicted staff, volunteers and board are working to keep the rivers and coast clean for us and future generations.  We need your help!

From calling elected officials to volunteering to clean up a stream, you can make difference in the health of our waters and our communities.

  • Take Action:
    • Call Governor Perdue and ask him to deny the permits for a coal plant that would put more the 100 pounds of mercury every year into our air, eventually pollution the waters, fish and our families.
    • Sign up to receive our electronic newsletters and stay informed of breaking issues.
    • Become a member today!
    • Take the pledge:  Reduce mercury pollution by conserving electricity.  Learn more here.
  • Volunteer:
    • There are a lot of fun ways to keep our waters clean.  Volunteer today!
