Hearing Date Set for Guyton Wastewater Treatment Plant
When: December 2, 2008
Where: Old School Gymnasium, 505 Magnolia St., Guyton, GA
Time: 7:00 PM
Everyone concerned about the Ogeechee River is invited and encouraged to attend. At this meeting, people will have an opportunity to discuss the alternatives that they think the City of Guyton should use instead of discharging to the Ogeechee and adjacent land.

I grew up on the Ogeechee River and it was always known as the last of the unpolluted rivers in Georgia. It would be a shame to now begin polluting with wastewater discharge. There has to be another solution. My family continues to live and own property on the river; therefore, my vote would be to not go forward with this project.
